Beginning in 2011, the Alaska Marine Highway introduced weekly ferry service to the Community of Gustavus, the Gateway to Glacier Bay National Park, making for easy connections via Juneau aboard the MV LeConte to explore some of the most spectacular scenery in Alaska.
The MV Kennicott has direct cross-gulf service from Bellingham, WA to the port of Whittier, just 60 miles south of Anchorage. The cross-gulf run stops in Ketchikan, Juneau and Yakutat for connections throughout the system with continuing service to Kodiak Island.
